Hello families,

Please book your time online.
Please read your child's report card before coming in to meet with your child's teacher

March 17 - SPIRIT DAY: Wear green for St. Patrick's Day
March 19 - EDO fun lunch and Mr. Pretzel (for those that order at healthyhunger.ca)
March 20 - NO SCHOOL
March 23 to March 27 - NO SCHOOL for Spring Break

This week we:

  • had a wonderful celebrating 100th day of School! We participated in many activities to celebrate making it to 100 days of school, including counting 100 objects, reading 100 words, doing 100 exercises throughout the day, being quiet for 100 seconds and listening to 100th Day of School read alouds!




  • created some special art to represent what we might look like when we are 100 years old!





  • wrote about what we would look like and do when we are 100 years old








  • reviewed many of the Lively Letter sounds we have learned so far and practiced them by reading words and sentences!









  • learned the heart words: where, when, want, new




  • have begun to practice skip counting by 2s to 20! Ask your child to practice with you!

  • learned a new math game to practice making 10 using a deck of cards. Ask your child how to play the game!






  • had a wonderful time learning from Indigenous Knowledge Keeper Chantal Chagnon, our school's guest speaker! She shared stories with us, and we sang with her and played on the special drums that she brought!



  • learned about the four Zones of Regulations - the Blue zone, Green zone, Yellow zone and Red zone. Ask your child what emotions are in each of the zones.
